Sleeping up to four guests across two spacious king suites, it features open-plan living, fireplace, firepit, and a private outdoor cedar jacuzzi nestled within lush tiered landscaping. Just minutes from Lake Daylesford and the town centre, this unique retreat perfectly blends history and comfort.
Lux on Max, Daylesford
With sensational panoramic views, Luxx on Max is a work of art, design and luxury in Daylesford’s newest location. This two-level, Scandinavian inspired three-bedroom home, features a stunning indoor/outdoor open plan living space. An exciting new offering at Cleveland Estate in Lancefield is their outdoor wood-fired tubs. Available as part of your stay or you can choose to upgrade to the Embers & Wine package, which includes mulled wine and a s’mores kit for firepit toasting. Shizuka Ryokan, Hepburn Springs
Set amid four acres of bushland, Shizuka Ryokan offers a traditional Japanese experience in the heart of Hepburn Springs. Each of the six guestrooms feature a deep Japanese soaking bath or a spa bath, along with a private Japanese garden. For a deeper sense of calm, guests (along with non-staying guests) can take part in a traditional Japanese bathing ritual—featuring a hinoki timber bath filled with magnesium-rich water, heated to a soothing 39–40°C.
Acre of Roses, Trentham
Acre of Roses is a luxury wellness accommodation and micro flower farm based in Trentham – the first (and only) Australian property to achieve the WITT Certified™ seal. One of the two accommodation options here is the Miners Cottage, a private and luxurious self-contained restorative sanctuary, which offers every modern convenience to guests including a kitchen, open-air theatre room and cedar hot tub. Filled with natural rainwater and heated to an ambient 38-39 degrees Celsius, it is the only cedar hot tub in the region.
