Perched atop spectacular boulder-strewn hills, it has sweeping views and complimentary tastings. There’s also Curly Flat, Cleveland Estate and Parkside Winery.
For lunch of dinner, head to Lost Watering Hole, a family-friendly brewery and restaurant that pays tribute to Lancefield’s unique history as the location of one of the richest deposits of megafauna fossils in Australia.
For adventures on two wheels, explore the Federation Trail, an easy 16-kilometre return cycle through rolling farmland from Lancefield to Romsey. On the fourth Sunday of the month, pop into the Lancefield & District Farmers’ Market. Want to stay for a day or two?
