Come and enjoy exquisite chamber music concerts in the intimate and beautiful setting of historic Christ Church Anglican Church in Daylesford.
Concerts also occasionally take place in heritage-listed Stanbridge Hall, located right next to the Church.
The next concert in the series is London Calling. This adventurous recital will focus on members of the double-reed family of instruments. The program will profile a series of now highly underrated expatriate composers such as Pepusch, Finger, Keller, Loeillet and Linicke, who made their mark on the London theatre scene around 1720. William Babell was the local Englishman, and his sublime F major concerto will be a magnificent centrepiece for the recital. With two oboes and a baroque bassoon playing alongside two recorders and a harpsichord, this rare concert offering is sure to captivate, delight, and surprise.
