CONTEMPORARY CERAMIC STUDIO, GALLERY AND WORKSHOP SPACE.
A studio focus on function and design, materials and process, learning and teaching.
Come for a visit and meet Emma Jimson, a potter who creates elegantly refined ceramic forms that dance a line between form and function. Using porcelain and the precision of the mould making method, her works echo the quiet strength and beauty of the surrounding rural landscape.
Combining art, craft and design, Emma’s practice is grounded by process, the chemistry of clay, and an exploration of how we engage with the objects in our space. She carefully crafts limited edition vessels to hold and be held, supporting daily rituals and emotional engagement.
Based in the Macedon Ranges of Central Victoria, Emma makes and teaches at Pom-me-granite Studios, the creative space she co-founded with her partner Jim, a bespoke carpenter. Together they foster a place for material experimentation, skill sharing, and connection.
Browse the gallery for unique porcelain tableware, fermenting vessels, wooden objects and lavender grown and distilled on sight. There is always a pot of tea brewing, a conversation to have, a connection to be made and stunning studio surrounds to enjoy. Classes run throughout the year offering an enjoyable afternoon amongst friends, deep skills for the professional potter or simply an opportunity to lose yourself as you play with clay.
Open Sunday and Monday 10.30 – 4.30pm All other times by appointment.
