Spend a weekend in Daylesford and be professionally guided through turning your guitar parts into a fully functioning instrument. There is a great selection of quality kit guitar models to choose from and everything is provided for you to complete the build, in their fully equipped luthier's workshop. This is the only course of its kind in Australia, offering an exciting opportunity to put together your own custom guitar in just two days.

Nick Carpenter, the owner of Wildwood Instruments (est. 1999), states, “This is a great course for those wishing to learn the finer points of how guitars work. An affordable, short and sweet introduction into the world of luthiery!” If you would like to try your hand at guitar making, Nick welcomes anyone wishing to have a go, as no experience is necessary. You will be guided through the whole process in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, so it’s a fun as well as educational activity! Best of all, you get to take home the custom guitar that you have made! The courses run monthly and start from $699. They are open to 16 year olds and above, with no experience necessary.
