Created by Lou & Ange, sisters who grew up playing shops, and saw an opportunity to open one of their very own in the heart of Woodend. After years working in retail, buying and visual merchandising, the pair decided to create something that they had been looking for and couldn’t find – a beautiful local store you could pop down to buy a gift and a card and quality every day essentials, or to simply just wander around enjoying a quiet browse.
From a humble start during the pandemic in 2020, we've grown into a beloved fixture of the Macedon Ranges community — and beyond, with a successful online store that ships around Australia and New Zealand. The pair have also expanded, with the addition of Little General Kids, a standalone Children’s store also located in Woodend.
Located in the picturesque town of Woodend, just over an hour from Melbourne and Bendigo, we're open seven days and make for a perfect day trip — with wineries, galleries and specialty stores all close by.
