Illuminated flowers with Dianne Longley
Botanical images from the Leviny sisters' journals will be the inspiration for drawings on fine paper.
Participants will be shown how to add 24 carat gold leaf illumination to a drawing on fine paper, then add watercolour to create a beautiful artifact.
Price includes materials including a selection of drawings, fine art paper, 24 carat gold leaf, gold leaf size and graphite carbon.
Please bring your own lunch and two to four fine to medium pointed round brushes and a small selection of water colours.
Suitable for ages 16+
Dianne Longley, BVA, MA, PhD works with a range of traditional and digital processes including printmaking, encaustic and oil painting, pokerwork on wooden panels, artist books, on-glaze porcelain, and small scale bronze casting.
