Each Anzac Day, the striking 21 metre high Mount Macedon Memorial Cross provides a spectacular, evocative setting for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

The service commences at 6:00 AM and runs for approximately an hour. Access to the Dawn Service is via bus only. Cameron Drive in Mount Macedon will be closed to all private vehicles including bicycles.

Book a seat on one of the free bus services that will operate from towns across the Macedon Ranges and Sunbury.

Alternatively, a continuous shuttle bus service will also operate from Tony Clarke Reserve, Waterfalls Road, Macedon from 4:15am. Bookings are not required for this shuttle service.

Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and torch. A sausage sizzle, tea and coffee will be available. A gold coin donation would be appreciated, or you can donate online.

MMADDS thanks its sponsors: the Victorian Government through Victorian Veterans Council, Macedon Ranges Shire Council, Bendigo Community Bank Gisborne and Region, Public Transport Victoria, Gisborne Region Events Activities and Tourism and KGMG Creative. Thanks also goes to CFA, SES, Victoria Police, Parks Victoria, Woodend Scouts, the Victorian Emergency Management Institute and the Mount Macedon Memorial Cross Reserve Committee of Management.
